Maybe just put your own together. Many, many frames had u-brake mounts, and generic u-brake forks aren't too hard to find

Indeed quite a few frames prior to 1988 had them until riders started complaining with their performance in muddy conditions. TREK 8000 from 87 comes to mind.

They are more difficult to set up correctly but if you pass this stage and have a good combo of rims / brake pads you are in for a better braking experience than most cantis I would argue.

Those are probably for a 24"/26" frame, very common on dirt jumping frames before everything got disc brakes. The frames typically had three holes on each side to allow two positions for the bracket.
