Who made e-stays

Of course legendary: The articles in MBA in which R Cunningham worked with others toward this design based on clever thoughts.

On the other hand, the same year Chris Chance accomplished about the same with a real inteligent desinged chassis: the Yo Eddy. Plenty of room for tires and rings ...AND agile, precise though stable handling. Without the flaws of the E-stay design.

Anyway, E-stays are cool.

So were there any that were truly woeful?

Trek made a full susser with a beam for a swingarm, and rubber bumpers in front. A jump would launch the rider over the bars. :D

I wonder if full-sus E-Stays are really the same thing. For me, full sus is all pretty ugly (especially my Tomac), whereas rigid E-Stays look special and different.

I suppose I just love the look of the Funks and the Yeti Ultimates, which makes me a complete tart with no idea if E-Stay was a good idea or not!
