Who can tell me which model of GT this titanium frame is? I've never seen before.

Those brake bosses are GT style (not Xizang though)

The seat tube slot is on the front like a Zaskar. As the Xizang and Lightning are on the rear.

That brake bridge plate is 93-95.

The inner dropout has the machined cut out which is 95.

Apart from the lack of gussets on the headtube and the end cap being round. It is like a Zaskar but Ti.

Again…. Where is this frame in the world?
In china,he also has many other vtg mtb,Most of them were acquired on eBay.

After skipping through 6 pages, my opinion is that someone has sent an old Zaskar frame to a factory in China etc and had a copy made from Ti (it is without doubt 100%ti) and this whole thread is a massive free advertisement for the sale of said frames.

It might be a counterfeit, but it can't be a recent one. Because China's titanium frame welding technology has improved significantly in recent years, such rough welding could only have happened a decade ago.

Now I know it’s got ties with China my recent excitement has been lost. It’s no tech shop prototype.

As above. Someone has sent a Zaskar frame and asked for a copy in Ti.

As for me, I’m not the seller. I just bought a frame from him before, and I’m simply curious about this particular frame. Moreover, I often customize titanium frames for people in China, and there are also many who want to replicate a certain model. I know the prices of custom dropouts and these parts, so it's very difficult for someone to achieve an exact 1:1 replica of a model. According to what he said, this one was purchased on eBay.Therefore, I don't think it's entirely certain that it's a counterfeit.
