who can reccomend some classic games for the megadrive?

I loved outrun , missing the next checkpoint by a second is infuriating but addictive and when you take a corner too quick , clip a tree and flip the car , seeing the blonde fly is amusing .

I can still remember "summer breeze "

Don't forget toe jam and earl , can't remember if it was any good or not but you just have to love the name

My nephew got me a Mega Drive for Christmas

Some of the best games are Sonic 1, Streets of Rage 2, Megalomania, and Sensible Soccer IMO.

yep, sega is great, i have an emulator on a dvd disc with hundreds of games!

streets of rage are great

shinobi - loved the unlimited ninja stars thing ( i had a 3-1 with shinobi,
streets of rage and golden axe i think)

duke nukem of course (doesnt he shoot some pigs on a level?)

road rash is probably the best game to have ever lived! (i had the second one on sega)

golden axe (classic, got it on my phone)

desert strike was pretty good (used to have jungle strike which was better)

toejam and earl was the nuts
so was earthworm jim

nba jam was a pretty good bball game

chuck rock wasnt too bad

lemmings! great on any console!

columns is good if you dont get bored easily

double dragon

micro machines of course (i had the v3 version on playstation too)

dragons fury was one of my favourites and still is (AMAZING pinball game)

no one has mentioned mortal kombat!!! :shock: i used to play as scorpion

snake rattle and roll (cus it was good on nintendo)

Was just about to add Mortal Kombat..... Loved that game on MD. I also played as Scorpion. FYI, I've played most versions since and have the latest on my ps3. Scorpions main moves are still done in the same way.
