Who built the TI Raleigh Team framesets?

Yes, interesting.

What I could add to it is that I remember reading somewhere that the 1st season the TI bikes were simply rebadged Prestos.

Loek Valk, current owner and back already involved in the Presto shop, told me he assumed Legrand built the most or at least a substantial number in the Presto shop. I'd rather not doubt his words, but maybe he had no idea how many were built elsewhere ...or maybe it was only the case in particular years? I am afraid I do not have a line to Jan Legrand - who could shed light on it.

Pro frames...

I think that most of the top pros used to have there frames made by 'friends'...
and as they were made in steel, even if crashed, they went from one race to another, as most riders only had one bike.
my own Ron Kitching cross bikes were made by Harry Quinn and first were badged as Jacques Anquitel, then Ron Kitching all being painted in Geoff Clarkes shop in Bradford.
Mine were built in 1969 and was still using them in 1975 although used Speedwell Titanium frames for the Pennine Way record...

My Falcon in the garage was sourced through Billy Holmes in the late 70's and is labeled as a "San Remo" but I'm not quite sure where it was built or where it came from......... the same builder who did the Falcon team bikes I guess.
