Whistles

Never thought either a bell or a whistle. I find it best to keep my wits about me. And my eyes open

That whistle would be ridiculously loud. .

We used to have air horns on the bikes as kids... got the old ladies out of the way quick smart ;)

I've seen a few vids with riders using them to get other riders out of the way, a quick peep.

Cycle trails I think you'd scare the biddies, but then that's what an Air Zound is for.

Walkers you might upset as whistles are for distress and they're all rules n stuff.

FWIW, Morse Code with a whistle (three short, three long and three short) is a very useful rescue tool ... providing that there's someone old within earshot! :P

Just buy a Hope pro 3 rear hub. The noise when you stop pedaling is more than enough to let people know your behind them and which side your on
