Which is an example of a Top of the Range MTB Stem?

Unfortunately the Syncros brand was a bit diluted by the end of the 90's after they sold to GT (97 ish) and on there bumbling travels after that.

Their new stuff is horrid.

Same goes for Ibis. Their old bikes and parts are works of art

Gorgeous, love the polish, and the look, shame its too long for me though, just curious, why the shift to syncros? For uniformity ??

You can't view a stem like a BB or hub. It isn't a wearing component.

going short at 110/120 can turn a nice stem into something just wrong.

Well, I was looking at around 125 same length as the syncros on my Dynatech .

1-1/8 or 1" quill 135mm long

As for old aheadstems go, IMO nothing comes close to the Angelo.
