Im a bit sad really, i love gripshifters...

They get clacked up with mud, slip in the rain and generally are more troublesome than all the rapidfires I have ever had (even altus c90) yet still I love them...

I'm sure I remember a time when gripshift offered a free upgrade from Xrays because of the cracking problem. Or it may of been an upgrade to Xrays cant quite remember. All you had to do was send your old shifters to them. Too lazy to do even that though....

Thread resurrection! My LBS told me that there was an issue with the X-rays as a compound used in their construction was left out when they made them, hence why they were so brittle compared to the standard gripshifts. I use powergrip extremes now, great shifters but I really want some coloured grips for them.
