Hi,
i bought a cool 1996 Rocky Mountain Altitude frame from Jez here and am now wondering which forks i can put on them. Of course it needs to be a 1 1/8 size, but does it have to be from the same era or could i also use a Pace RC-31 from this or last year? A friend said, the frames geometries and sizes have changed, so a newer fork would lead to a different riding behaviour (which you can get used to)....
Ideally i look for a Pace RC-30 but after i missed one on ebay, i never saw one for sale again.
