Which cleats and pedals fit these shoes?

Ok sorry but other thread got into the usual OT mess.

Just bought these MO88 shoes. Can I have some definitive answers as to which pedals will fit them.

Not just 520s as I find pedals I don't have a clue as to their suitability. Looking on eBay and usual outlets. Nothing exotic/ expensive please.

BTW it's probably worth speaking to a responsible adult when you come to fit the cleats to the shoes. If you put them on incorrectly, you could cripple yourself.

And in the case of 540s it says spd but they don't fit this shoe apparently hence the request for specifics thanks

No it doesn't.
It says spd sl. Which is not spd.

And as for specifics, there are about 10 different generic spd compatible types, across at least 50 manufacturers and probably 500 different models, at prices from £25 to £250+

Exactly. That's what happens when you get model numbers and letters indicating compatibility in a product description all alongside each other.. Easy for a novice like me to be pedalled the wrong ones albeit in good faith. Hence the reason for my asking for specifics.

And fwiw, m520s are suitable for pretty much everything.

I use shimano SPD m520 which should ft your shoes, you can even buy some reflectors fr them

And they work just fine? Just wary of base model things. But if they work they work.
