Okay, I shoulda been doing the 3 tibes but this ride was organised ages ago and I was loathe to cancel it.



So, where was I this Saturday / Sunday?

Could be anywhere from the Scottish lowlands, Peak District or the Brecons!! The only place it isn't ... East Anglia ... too many hills!! Lol!!

Yup, you got it. That didn't take long did it?

Did the full length route out of some bike mag. 18 miles on the Friday taking in all the hills and then did the reverse route the next day. 18 miles doesn't sound much but I have to say it was pretty hard going in places. The toughest hill we came across was on Saturday while doing a variation of Friday's route, straight up Hangman's Hill / Broad down from Shadeybank common on the return leg. Had me blowing a bit! Face like this >
