What about aluminium spokes or anything else that is scary light  8)

no aluminium but your restricted to dt swiss revoloution spokes or mawi ti spokes to be far the revs weight the same as the mawi spokes and ride nicer than the mawi's to as the mawi's are straight gage

thats it unless you want to use sapim cx rays not my fav choice of spokes being a dt man

How much are the D.t. for 60 and also the sapim's?
and the best place to get these from is where???????
Cheers Dan
(you are a wheel building god 8) (but shaved legs :?:  ))

They're nice spokes, very similar to the Sapim CX Ray. They're semi-bladed, which means you don't need to slot the hub before lacing. They're expensive too, unless you find them on special offer.

Beats me.

Actually, colour-anodized spokes might be quite cool ...

(and yes, I know the Marwis come in "Ti-dye")

Maybe you should ask mavic this question  For weight saving of course :D I am going to build some campagnolo 26 inch rims whch are very light into some mega light rim brake only wheels  8)

scott for what your after you'd be better off with dt swiss rev spokes when you get the rims and hubs come over il work out the spoke lenght and if crc have then in stock its £19.99 for 36 (they only sell in 36's) which is the cheapest you can get them anywhere  semi bladed spokes are ok but revs offer that little bit more when building a wheel that 8) 8) look  and weight bugger all too

cx rays are silly money mate £2 each for indeviduals or £45.95 for a pack of 20 from uk bike store my opinon as a wheel builder stick with revs
