I think it came free with MBUK one month. I had this up on my bedroom wall as Tim Gould was a big hero of mine. I knew they weren't real Peugeots underneath the paint and decals and at the bottom of the seat tube/bottom bracket you can just about make out the CR (Chas Roberts) logo.

I remember seeing it eBay originally when @doctor-bond won it. I was in no position to even entertain trying buying it at the time.

Absolutely love riding it, this is the last time it got a proper outing...

Chaps, I was lucky enough to secure what looks like an ex Tim Gould race bike last week

I got some of its history from the vendor [a friend of the Gould family], but there are still lots of questions to answer, and I think a big part of this build is going to be sorting out its history.

Any way - here's some pics:



















The parts and serial number - 89511 - seem to back up the expert opinion on here, that it is a 1989 bike, probably raced during 1990. The frame and fork are fillet brazed Reynolds 753, and like the other team Peugeot frames of the era, were crafted by...

Love this Ed. Remember the MBUK article really well.

Mine is a bit more modest but I'd love to get my hands on one of these 89 Pine Mountains and to also know the history. They were run by the UK team and the article was in an 89 MBUK that was the very first one I bought. Why not the UK colour, why not use Team Marin frames and why then spec them as the Team? Hi All.

Thought I'd start a thread on this one. 2nd project of 2018 out of my plan of 4!

Bought back in February last year, Initially it was intended to be a parts donor for another build. He's the initial 'outing' and discussion from the eBay/marketplace watch -
