Mavic Crossmax XL rear wheel. Hub and freewheel are good.....sadly as per pic rim(tubeless or not) is split around the valve. If I needed this wheel...I WOULD RIDE ON IT! otherwise perfect for spare hub/freewheel. These cost well over £500 as a pair when new.....so £60?NOW £35

Any questions pls ask away :-)

Yes please :D

What's the difference with the XL to ordinary Crossmax? Reason I ask is I have an XL front wheel and a standard Crossmax rear with a wobbly free hub, could the rear rim be built on the XL hub or would they not be compatible.

Not sure what the difference is tbh but I don't see why you couldn't swap the hubs as long as your rim is 24 spokes?

@steelhardtailer, what do you mean in ordinary crossmax ? the xl is a tubeless generation, it's stronger() than the lighter "sl" and I think hubs must be compatible. but hubs are not compatible with the first "tube" generation, spokes aren't in the same lenght and profil.
