I'm no stranger to replacing hub and freehub bearings and have the need to do this on some newly acquired wheels that came attached to a Mondraker foxy r that I bought for my son, which arrived today.
I knew the bearings needed doing but had no idea what make or model the hubs were until it arrived.
They are branded Alpha Components but an online search hasn't yielded much in the way of information.
I believe they are the original hubs and it seems both ends need doing, including the freehub. I'd imagine they are from around 2015/16 as I believe that's the approx frame year. They are non boost.
Anyone have any knowledge of these hubs and what bearings are needed. Even better, any info on removal of the freehub.
I've not taken them apart yet as the bike is rideable and my son is obviously quite excited to ride it, so my plan would be to purchase the required bearings and have them ready to fit one evening to reduce any downtime for him.
Thanks
