im about to fit some storage stuff under the stairs in a month or so and i have some ideas for summer coming up too...work has been the main topic lately tho so havent had much of a chance sadly..
A man can never have enough power tools. Have been looking at some tool porn in the Axminster Tool catalogue recently. When I build my man-cave it's going to be obscene.
Throw caution to the four winds and buy Festool. Anything else is only fit for the peasants
I need to do a chair for the autistic mob :? something artyfarty :? and ive some pricey burr veneer to do another jewellery box with.
Really need to get head out of arse this year and get more made.
Price wise Festool seem pretty similar or a bit cheaper than the pro Panasonic stuff.
My 18v Panasonic driver is about 10 years old and still works a treat, and on the original batteries as well. I've also got a 14v which is a lot stronger than it should be. Their 24v stuff is superb, amazing kit.
Edit. Scratch the price comparison. Just looked at more of their stuff.
The random orbital sanders they do coupled to their extractor is brilliant, not a bit of dust escapes, the pad is really well balanced.
Overall its well thought out, shame i cant justify buying that level of quality
