What's this frame? Mid 80's ?

It's bloody ace whatever it is. Early stumpys had those forks.

If you can't be arsed sorting it, let me know, I would love to restore it!
 
Lol, I quite like it. The amount of work that needs doing quite excites me. But it'll be years before it's finished!
 
seen that seatpost somewhere before, stumpys a good call!!!

looks like its gonna be ace when cleaned up :)
 
I've just been through the Specialized collection on Mombat and they are all lugged. It's also appears lots of companies used those biplane forks.

The double cable stop on the down tube is quite unique though.

Was it you I spoke to earlier?
All the old Ridgebacks seem to not have the cut off seatstays, although the rest is quite similar!

Now THAT'S what I call a project !

The chainstays into the bb shell look a bit Fisher'ish, but whatever it is I like it 8)

No sorry it wasn't me I was going by the general look and the Red S equipment, mind you Madison also did the Revell range back then can't remember if they ever did a mountain bike though
