What's in your drinks bottle?

+1 for water . For those times when you get a cut and want rid of the mud in it or that bit of poo that flicked up onto your shirt , or when your head is hot and you want it a bit cooler , etc ,etc ,etc . Much better than having something with a load of other stuff in .

If you want an added boost just carry a small packet of wine gums or other similar sweet . Suck it and it keeps your mind clear ( not worrying about useless stuff that might make you have an off ) . It also promotes good breathing as your mouth will be closed . Pretty sure I read somewhere that humans were the only mammal that breathes through their mouths

Water only for me. Will supplement with gels for a long ride but only use water in Camelbaks and bottles.

BITD, always used to use something like lemon / lime leppin.

These days, are you mad? Cycle for long enough distance / time to need a drink

But really, water - 'cos I'm too damn lazy to worry about washing bottles that much.

I usually carry 1 bottle of water and 1 of energy stuff. TBH Im going off gin.
... mother's ruin

Anyway, if it's not in a martini it's just wrong.

What? Gin and martini?

You need dry martini and vodka. Thats more reserved for 'apres ride', as it were.

Vodka martini?

Am I hearin' you right? Vodka martini

Martinis are only right when made with gin. Don't fall foul of influence of popular culture and a certain James Bond...
