Not a good day. Landlady was heading off to Cornwall on holiday today, I carefully helped her pack the back of the car out, she checked the oil while I checked the tyre pressures....one was very low...went to pump it up and the valve stuck open, letting all the air out. Perished rubber? Who knows.
We empty the back of the car out (again), I put the spare on, off she goes.
Pouring a pint for the workshop jobs this afternoon, I look at my 10 year old commemorative glass and think, I've just got a feeling if you use that, it'll get broken. Ignoring the bleeding obvious, because I'm not the suspicious type, I pour my pint into it and out I go. It's on the worktop, I reach up to put something away on a shelf above, just manage to catch it with my hand as I turn away....who knew glass could go so far?? Also had to empty out the entire top tray of my open tool box and wash everything out. Have spent most of the afternoon drying tools and removing sticky cider residue.
So what's going to be the third thing? Should I just give in and go to bed now? I'm indoors and sitting very quietly in a chair.....
