Whatever happened to good old 24/7 bikes? I was never a big fan of their boxy design but remember that they offered very good value for money framesets.

Just curious as I saw one of their frames on the 'Bay!

Cheers all,

Jack

I used to work there in the early 2000s, I was laid off when the business was bought by Bonthrone Bikes and relocated possibly ~ 2004.

Fond memories.

I have no idea, but they kind of just faded away. Their components were pretty popular on DJ bikes but it was pretty hefty and people seem to be running lighter stuff these days.

So they do! It's so long since I've seen any of their stuff I bought that they'd just faded away really.

I'm doubtful that the website is maintained tbh! It's got a very early naughties vibe to it.

Its still maintained, they never were cutting edge at advertising

I not long ago sold a mate a steel dh dark angel . Was to big for me. Would of liked to of tryed it will try nick ago off him. Its a beast though being all steel. Just the frame was more than my full xc bike ha ha

I bought a dh dark angel in as new condition earlier last year for £350 it looked and rode brilliant on the dh due to its weight but I ended up selling it for £550 to raise funds for another project! Brilliant bike though ;)
