What Year Judy SL

I'm trying to make a decision on which fork to use for my Trek 7000zx and I wanted to do some research on this fork.

It's a Rock Shox Judy SL and it looks like this:

google search says it's a 1997, but I'm not sure since it has disk brake mount...

What say you?

Re:

I'm no expert but 1997 sounds right to me.

Think the '96's were the yellow ones. I have a set of '97 Judy XC's with the similar decal layout (but in blue and white)

Someone will know definitively I'm sure

Re:

Single piece lowers make them 97+. Sls were still yellow in 97 with different adjusters to yours pictured. Also would have had an alloy steerer and titanium v bosses.

What adjustability is there on the lower legs?

Re:

I'll take a picture of the lowers and post it here.

The big question for me is whether to use this fork or brand new 2018 Rock Shox 30 Silver TK

The Judy is way lighter...

1997 for sure, but this was a Judy XC color combo, not as popular as white/red or black/yellow, but definitely out there. The Thin Air of that year definitely had them on. SL's should've been yellow with black core stickers, but who knows what special this may be... :D
