What year did they start putting just disc mounts on frames

What year did they start putting just disc mounts only on mtb frames?
Im trying to workout the approximate date of it.It has disc mounts and the frame mounts for the hose only,no pivot points for V's or cantis.

It might help me work out what make it is,or at least email the company that had it featured on its interbike stand[pretty sure they didnt make it themselves]but if i can supply rough details as to when that was it might help jog their memory :?

On XC frames depending on manufacturer anywhere between 2000 and 2006. But of course there are many notable exceptions.

I have a 2003 frame with disc mounts and canti bosses.

But it'll be different based on manufacturer I'm sure.

IMO - You'd be harder pushed to find a disc specific frame before 96.

Im not saying there arent any out there, its just they became much more common from 96/97 onwards.
