What would YOU do ?

In case the person in question is a RetroBIKEr, just a couple of questions from a neutral before you read this thread and go off on one:

Why on Earth did you not get in touch with the seller?
Why did you think it would be OK to hack at the item if you knew it was wrong?
Why did you think the seller would refund you for goods he can no longer sell?

Sounds harsh chap, but have a think before you reply on here as I am inclined to agree that you shoul get nothing at the moment!

The buyer is obviously a *insert expletive* and you shouldnt give him anything/Zero /nowt
Hes tried to pull a fast one by sending the damaged brace back to you ,without telling you hes deliberately damaged it ,throwing to onus onto you to sort it out,now youve got the brace and his cash

Both the law and common sense are with you on this
Doesnt matter it was the wrong size,he should have checked that first before modifying it.He jumped the gun and now wants you to pay for his mistake

ANY reasonable member here would agree

I mean who here, would try and pull a low down trick like that?

Nope no pennies should be returned ,and if he wants the brace back[unlikely] then he has to pay return postage

Cheers Guys you have cheered me up no end as I hate disputes and it is nice to know that I'm not the only one to feel like I'm being taken for a ride here.
