North Wales police are pathetic sometimes, one evening I got pulled over five times in the same evening when I had a BMW 330ci, by the same officers and breathalised each time! I was designated driver for my friends that evening and had to do a few trips each way as there were fifteen of us out. I hadn't touched a drop all night but they were determined to do me for something, even measuring the distance between the letters on my number plates :? A lot of people I know now put welsh dragon stickers on the back of their cars just for the journeys to and from north wales, it is worryingly effective :roll:

I can quite believe that. It really is not the sort of policing we the public want to pay for.

UPDATE MAY 2010.

Well, he is now paying just over £1,000 extra in premiums. Went up from £600 to £1,600 on renewal when declaring the MS60

And

He can only find 2 insurance companies that will touch him, all the rest refuse to quote!!

He's had a play around with quotes and it's easier and cheaper to get insurance with drink driving convictions. All this for something he didn't do, it's winding me up so I can only imagine how he feels :evil:

and then we wonder why so many young uns dont bother with insurance :cry: ...... and then the rest of society condemn the lack of insurance as irresponsible

if this case is typical of the treatment of our youths, the whole system, from policing through to the underwriting stinks and needs a review.

N.Wales plod are butt heads though, my Brudda runs a bikers hotel over there and liaises with NWP rather a lot . . he knows how petty and discriminatory they are.
