What would you do?...Police content.

All I can think of is hes getting stopped as they keep seeing him in different cars , then have to find a reason to have stopped him .

I'm sure there is a limit to the amount of " stop checks " you can receive within a certain time .

Does he wear a hoodie with the hood up while driving or maybe music up window down?

There is no way he would get pulled for no reason....FACT.

I never even had a front number plate for months on one of my cars, but because i didn't draw attention to myself, i never had a problem. I was only 18 at the time!!!

Honestly, read my other posts first.

I don't know how old you are now, but many moons ago Police may well have been more lenient, but not now and this is North Wales Police which is notorious.

There must be a reason FACT  but what is it? and the most likely answer IMO is discrimination.

Outspoken discrimination is usually a visual thing, e.g someone will shout abuse at a black person because they can see their skin colour, but the same moron wont shout at say a polish person because they cant tell by the colour of their skin, so my point is i drive like a complete arse sometimes but because i'm in a shirt and tie i don't get pulled the same as someone who 'looks' like a boy racer.

I used to get stoppped everytime (without fail) i drove my parents car when i was a teen because of the way i dressed. I didn't moan because hopefully the day that some tit stole my parents car the police would stop them!!

I really feel for your bro but don't report the copper (if it is just one) he will make his life hell, trust me i know, i did it!! Just make sure his car is always legal, drive to the speed limits in town and if you really want to piss the rozzers off, take his Advance driving test, i did and when they stop you they hate it that you have the test on your records! And on the plus side his insurance will go down.

The advance driving test is an idea

He was doing everything correctly, driving below the limit, car was fully legal, but he got pulled for something he hadn't done. If you are pulled for speeding, say 33mph in a 30mph, you might be pissed off but at the end of the day you broke the limit, but to be pulled and convicted for something you hadn't done at all, and then be told off the record not to bother contesting it as their are 4 of them, well that's enough to piss anyone off.

I think its winding me up more than him, he just puts it out of his mind

Some Police just wind me up, they forget that we the public have given special powers to the Police in order for them to uphold the law and protect us, not to bully and target anyone.

Anyway, rant over. There is nothing he can do other than to sit and be shafted just because he chooses to dress like a young person that he is and to drive a retro car.

Imagine if we got pulled on our bikes because they were old

In my experience, nothing is less likely to help you pull than having a collection of old bike tat.

Incidentally, anybody notice Top Gear on Sunday, Jeremy driving the Renault Twingo, coughing into one hand, changing gear with other - no hands on wheel, and from the window it looks like he was on public roads, hmmm something tells me he wont get a fine for actually doing the deed!

And again... twice driving the BMW up north

Don't get me wrong though, I don't think the Police should take action against JC, but i'm just highlighting the harsh treatment of my brother, who was only accused of driving with no hands, which he wasn't and ended up with an MS60, 3 points, 60pound fine and the increased insurance premiums to go with it.

Anyway, not wanting to open this again, just adding to it.
