I have two sets of wheels which set do I keep on my ransom? Basically which wheels are better? Fh-m 525 hub with a sun SOS rim or dmr hub with dee vee rim? Any thoughts any one?
We'll I decided to keep the dmr wheels purely because I think they look nicer and they cost more. I swapped them over and now my brake pads rub on the rear disc. I have avid juicy hydrolic brakes. I hearted somewhere they fine tune themselves. Is that true? Any tips on adjustment?
Slacken off the 2 allen bolts holding the caliper to the mount
Squeeze the brake lever on and off a couple of times, and then hold it on firmly
Roll the bike forward a little (dragging the brake) and then pull the brake lever VERY tight
Gently tighten both bolts so they grip but are not tight
Release the lever and spin the wheel to check there is no drag
If no drag squeeze the brake lever tight again and torque down both bolts, each one a little bit at a time alternating between them until nice and tight
Enjoy the silence
Works on my Juicy carbons every time without fail.
