I'm selling my Flite... http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1450758#1450758 and a guy "CAPIN" http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=8843 wanted to buy it. Sent PP payment today (finally!) along with this PM (can't believe this, pls. read..):

"Im expecting you to post the saddle also within a few hours along with a photo of the post receipt clearly showing you actually sent it.
If you, by chance, must go to work.. take the day off.
If i dont see the receipt by today 17:00 Im writing a negative comment."

Sooo... WHAT to do with guy like that - "If you, by chance, must go to work.. take the day off.." "post the saddle also within a few hour" LOL

If it was me I would refund and sell to someone else. That crazy giving you a few hours to send item out.

definitely pulling your chain, and hoping his reply goes viral... Seen this all too often on other forums and my guess is that you have fallen into his trap 8)

How long from when he said he'd buy the saddle till he sent you the payment? His request sounds quite out of hand, especially if he dragged his feet for a day or three with the payment.

I usually take a pic of my parcels with postage on them on the counter of the post office and send it to the buyer as a courtesy, especially if it's being sent without tracking. I have never had a member on here demand it, nor have I ever had a member ever demand same day shipping.

My thoughts exactly. I'd reply saying that you've booked the day off, as requested, and would like 250 euros paid into your paypal account to compensate for loss of earnings

Assuming that is a serious comment then ....'oh dear!....'....that's not in keeping with the general attitude here.....you can only do your best!....

I would say if it took 2 days between saying item wanted and item being paid for, posting within 2 days wouldn't be unreasonable :p

You could take a day off work to post it and claim loss of earnings from buyer

250 euros paid into your paypal account to compensate for loss of earnings Wink

Wish I got paid that much

Sure, NO problem to take a pics... BUT the attitude that guy giving me! And I waited for his payment for 2 days...
