What to buy with £400

Want to buy something, probably a hard tail, but no idea what to buy. currently riding a proflex XPX that I've had from new.
A white Kona caught my eye on here recently & also a polished alloy thingy.
Budget of around £400, what to get?
Suggestions please.

Don't mind - will be keeping the proflex - but want it to look good

Orange 02 complete bike with choice of pace forks RC36, RC36 pro class (gold stanchions) or RC36 hollowform (a bit long travel for the frame really.

Black LX cranks (were NOS when they went on) with middleburn rings.
XT mechs
Magura rim brakes

Pic in this months bike of the month thread.

I dont really want to sell it, but I have a pace to fund.

Price negotiable...infact ive not really worked out its worth yet.

I'll post up some more piccies etc when i finish work. Its a 16" from memmory, i'll do a propper set of measurements for you later as well.

I guess I should also work out exactly what i want for it too

Few more pics from various build points, for reference the top tube cable guides are specificly for magura hydraulic hoses, I just never got around to bleeding the brakes in order to thread the hose.

The frame is 17" center of BB to top of seat tube.

Early build with old XT cranks (swapped out in favour for the NOS black LX ...purely for aesthetics) And the RC36 Proclass forks.

Aye its my local run. When (if) the summer sets in and it drys up, i'll be commuting to work down it. (no shower fascilities at work so turning up soaked/muddy isnt a viable option- otherwise i'd be doing it already)
