What The Hub...

Silly question, I need some suggestions for a front hub for my '94 Altitude build.

I'm building it as a single speed with an ENO eccentric rear in silver, so I'm looking for something non-boring in silver for the front, could go with a matching WI hub, but I don't really feel like it.

Hoping for something retro that isn't too fragile or unreliable.

There are a few NOS XC Pro greaseguard hubs on eBay which seem oddball enough to be attractive and plenty of
"usual suspect" Shimano XT, XTR stuff, yawn...

It'll be a traditional Rocky build aside from the SS setup, Syncros stem and post, Raceface chainset, Dia Compe 986 canti's with SS-5 levers.

If you guys have suggestions, I'm game.

Or, if you want to light the torches and gather your pitchforks I can always gather up some M900 stuff and go with gears :)

Thanks, Ted

I'm running an ENO rear, and an older Tracker front, they don't make the same shape one any more, so whilst they match, true bike geeks can tell.

Syncros front hub then?

I've seen modern "disc" Syncros hubs, did they make non-disc stuff BITD?

Cheers, Ted
