What makes a great BOTM?

I enter mine, mostly for a laugh and cos I'm proud of my own bikes no matter how scruffy or common they are.

I enjoy building and riding them.

I vote for the bike that floats my boat the most at the time. ( I never vote for my own, that's just not in the spirit IMO)

Some of the choices for the obscure I will admit I don't get but that's probably cos they're obscure or super rare!

One thing I don't understand is a entry that never gets used.... But each to their own I suppose

I have entered BOTM a couple of times and not got any votes, but when it comes down to it that doesn't bother me.

I don't build them just to show them off or use it as a popularity contest. I also only vote for the bike I would like to own, regardless of who's it is.

I have and to me at least it sounded a bit muddled; a few themes mixed up. I understand what you mean now

Opinions are fine, it's the way they are articulated and presented that annoys and frustrates which sometimes wrongly spills into nonsense and idiocy.

To suggest there's a collective group or swell of people purposely not voting for something based on the perception of the poster is straight out Operation Mindfuck business. It's BOTM not Posteryouleastlikeofthemonth
