So I need a different rare period correct well restored well photographed pristine Klein that's just been ridden?

This formula doesn't take into account rallying troops to vote (for you as well as/instead of the bike).

As mr k says in can turn into a popularity contest, where people vote for someone considered cool or from the "it " crowd

But of course, it goes the other way too, and people rally around "against" a person/bike/opinion.

But then im sure you know that THM.

Oh dear. It has always been the smile or ooooh factor for me but I was genuinely interested in the BIKE not the OWNER.

The last month was a perfect example of that. Well that's my perception. I would like a bIT of BOTM on my sig one day so was just wondering.

Didn't expect a bitchfest on here.

Off to go skipping naively through the woods talking to the animals on my ugly duckling pioneer for a couple of hours. Got to be ready for the 21st Keep it coming.

Love to all. Lots to love!

For me,it's the bike that jumps out from the rest by the way it looks, almost like a " i want that " moment. I couldn't care less who owns it.

BOTM remains a hugely valuable global window on the active world of 'retrobiking', as the MTB variant gathers its place in broader cycling history. It's a regular inspiration to many to collect, restore and present to the online community - the 'winning' is, to my mind at least, an irrelevance in comparison to the taking part. I would love to see a book researched and written about some the significant/obscure/weird entries that have passed through its hallowed portals - paging Privateer writers!!

Good idea

I couldn't give a toss who owns the bike. I've not voted for bikes owned by people on here that I class as really good friends.
I use the simple which one would I choose to take for a spin if they were all lined up method.
I always look past trick photography but there's no excuse for a crap pic.
I also couldn't care less who may have ridden the bike in the past.
I'm a simple man though :D
