what lacquer???!?!!

Hi fellas, picked up a battered p7 the other day. So I've rust inhibited, sanded and painted. Against advice I used hammerite satin black spray paint. The finish is pretty good so I'm happy. I've fitted new decals now and want to protect them. My only issue is what lacquer can I use with hammerite paint? I'm not fussed on shine or matte, so any will do, I'm just wanting something that won't react badly when used with hammerite. Cheers in advance .

Hammeriite is enamel, use rattle can clear enamel not lacquer.

i didnt get on with that stuff, i found that it doesnt harden and you can just scratch it off with your fingernail.... you know when you get pva glue on your fingers and when it dries you can just peel it off? well clear coat enamel dries like that

i think you would be better off leaving it not lacqured and if you cant live with the finish then strip the paint, then repaint with halfords cans or holts for example, or get the frame painted professionally
