What is this 'W' logo on my stem?

Just bought a Monoc road bike from around 2003, it has this carbon fiber stem with a 'W' logo on that I don't recognise. Any ideas?

I'd say it is a W- had a look at inverted, doesn't look right as an M.

I thought it might be an upside-down M too, but the Monoc logo looks nothing like this style. M's look a bit different to W's too.

Had a google but nit managed to find anything yet....

The logo inverted- definitely a W- the composition looks too top heavy this way- ye'd tend to have the sllipses the otner way and the straight edge of the letter at the bottom.
