Halfords could do a lot 'worse than you'. I had a Sturmey equipped bike brought to me that they had worked on. There were 7 things wrong with it as a result of them just changing the inner tube!

Ha, ha, that's quite funny actually and makes me feel a little better - what's an inner tube? (only joking!!)
Found a guy not too far away now who restores classic all steel lightweight racing bikes mainly - so this won't be quite as exciting as his usual patients, but it seems a fitting option.
