What is a "Thevenet" Bicycle?

Recently found this bicycle at an old sale I am assuming it is from the 1970's does anyone have any information on:
- age
-quality
-brand

There's a "B" in front of Thevenet as in "Bernard" the Pro cyclist. Like many of the era they had their name put on bikes which were good and bad................. or middling as your's seems to be.

I think your bike is one of the mass produced items of various quality from the factories in St Etienne they were sold to bike shops, super markets, through out Europe under various badges, often pro & ex pro riders, looking at the photos it appears to be one of the fusion welded frames although it appears to have lugs on the head tube the down tube shows no part of the lug being fitted over the tube+ no sign of a lug at the seat /top/ seat stay cluster looking at the parts fitted I would say your bike is approx half way up the price range when new.
