Why does everybody think an aluminium frame should have a rigid fork? Crazy youngsters!

Interesting that they reverted to steel for the 1998 Storm, but the Jet Stream went to aluminium (and was given suspension). An early SID might suit a 1997 Storm best.

I'm not sure that's correct -think it's a mistake on the Mombat site..
The storm became alum in '97 and not much changed for '98 at Breezer.
Likewise, the Jetstream and Lightning were still steel in 97 and presumably 98
