what do we think of Halfords

I regard Halfords with the same disdain I view Tesco.

Still use them though, and always feel dirty after.

Luckily the wife feels the same.

Chatting to a mate of mine about hellfrauds today.

He told me a tale where he bought a tool chest in a sale. It was a £100 item, 50% off in the sale. Simples.

Or so it seems not.

He went to pay, then stood by in disbelief while the yound chav on the till used a calculator to work out 50% of £100...

That sounds just about right.

I went in and informed them they had parked some trailers in such a way they were going to get hit by someone's car.

The lassie got all uppity about it remarking they did not own the car park.

I still have not worked out what that had to do with their trailers being parked idiotically.

Mused on reversing into the bay and accidentally pushing said trailers through their window. I am sure they own that.

Saying all this, some of their tools are decent and have lifetime guarantees.
