I smashed my seat on the DH bike the other day, what would a nice strong, light seat be these days?
Bear in mind I am doing jumps and drops and not really sitting on the seat, I am 14.5 stone, but the bike is perhaps 40lbs.
The seat rails broke when the bike and I did a rolly polly after I came up short on a gap, so any resistance to both our weights in a crash situation would be good.
Is the cromo railed charge spoon (about the only seat I know of by name)hard wearing? I am proper out of the loop and haven't bought anything new in years, in fact I hadn't ridden a mtb in years either (normally a roadie or a bmxer).
By the way riding is ace at the mo. get out there and enjoy it if you are not!
