What bike part do you collect ?

I've just realised whats been staring me in the face, I'm not a bike collector, I'm a frame collector.

I never have more than 3 bikes in serviceable state at any given time but I have at least 14 frames but insufficient other components to build more than half a dozen bikes.

I just love owning and staring at frames. They are the heart of a bike and the one feature that can dictate everything else's effect.

What single component must you have more than anything else.

I seem to always pick up stems. I have about 6 ahead 1 1/8 and never change them from my bike. I just like them.

Especially my fly stem. Never been on a bike but will one day hopefully!

i keep buying salsa lip locks, the non QR version, havent a clue why though, they just really tactile and i like having them

no offence mate, but that's funny stuff. Especially the "clueless" part!
I'm into retro stuff not that long, but I allready have 3 rear mechs. I still have the feeling that this is a part that you need to have spare.
Since 1990, when I started mountainbiking I broke only one rear mech though...
