What bike part do you collect ?

Index shifters it seems, as I have more of them than bikes to put them on, but I just love the mechanisms, they fascinate me as have old clocks in the past until I learned clocks that are taken apart are not as easy to reassemble, hmm, yeah, just like index shifters.

shifters for me too...not sure what it is. i like the index windows on my 98 Deore XT 8speeds. something about the colours and the way they sit on the handlebars!
love taking them apart (as long as i know how to put them back together!) and cleaning them up....the satisfying noise of a clean ratchet click!

EDIT: i think headset might be becoming a new fetish too.....

I have had some of those since they were new. Most of the hoarding is over the past 6 years.
