Nice one - I had one of those bitd (think it pre-dates the BMX era, though...thinking I might spring for one for old times sake....
 
i had one when i was about 6 (1980 ish) on my raleigh blazer, 3 different sirens iirc, i can still remeber the sound as the batteries ran down 8) 8) 8)

I remember the mudguards and folding them under to make motorbike noises until the plastic wore away.

My mate had a Strika around the same time, it wanted to be a hardtail, it wasn't it had hard plastic 'boots.

And lets not forget the big foam rubber seat, the front used to rip off and leave the steel plate showing. Health n Safety my arse.

i had to do the lolly stick motor trick due to unfoldoverable guards.

I so loved that bike until the day i followed my two friends across the road between two parked cars in a scene straight out of a seventies road safety ad, mashed bike, concussion and a broken left arm were the result, aswell as my folks refusing to buy me another bike until i was ten :cry: :cry:
