I am not going in to it here...go and find a pic of a broken mountain bike wheel that wasnt driven over by a car........you wont find one.....a smear campaign by an american law firm and nothing more...it has been discussed many many times with no actual evidence.....that is why it was thrown out of court in the usa......

some road bike wheels of the early models did snap yes......but that was a design fault and was quickly sorted......

anyway been riding them for years with no ill effects.......shouldnt believe everything you read on the web :wink: :lol:
