does anyone klnow how well a modern wetsuit ages?

i bought a top end billabong solution gold winter suit about 2 years ago. trouble is time and money got tight straight after so it has hardly been used. i dont want it to deteriorate on the hanger in fronty of my eyes. should i sell it now whilst it is in good condition or keep it and hopefully get some use out of it?

i dont WANT to sell it (i could use the cash but would end up replacing it at some point anyway) but there is no point it hanging there another year only to need replacing anyway.

If it has been washed in clean water and dried should be fine for a few years. Its dried in salt that is the problem from the sea or from other fluids.

I have a couple of 6-8 year old ones but they tend to wear out under the arms and on the knees before they degrade. I hope your hanging it off a proper wet suit hanger? as narrow hangers stress your suite on the shoulders because of the weight
If your not going to use it in the foreseeable future Id sell it and buy an excel when you need it, I used to use Billabong suites but moved over to excel and wouldn't go back now.

chris, i think my suit would drown mark.

i think i will keep it where it is.

as for hangers, i sont have a wetsuit hanger but i am using 4 normal ones taped together.
