Sad day today as my 49 year old TL125 trials bike was stolen this morning. I'd just fitted new sprockets, chain and rear mudguard, and had made a nice Ti and stainless bracket for the reg. plate too. It's the second bike nicked here in under 5 years.
Sorry to hear that Ben, fkn thieving scum.

I've had more motorcycles than bicycles ever since I got my licence in 1966. Bit of a break from them in the 80s and 90s when I got back to cycling for pleasure in a big way, but when my dad died in 1999 and I spent a lot of my free time with my mum in Suffolk, I bought a Royal Enfield 350 to explore the lanes and keep me sane. Later had a good offer on a low mileage Suzuki SV650 and had some good times further afield in East Anglia. I brought them home to Kent in around 2012 when my mum went into care and the house was sold. A d***head in a white van destroyed the front end of the Enfield by reversing over it. I rebuilt it, but various health issues have finished my motorcycling days. The Enfield and the SV have been in the garage for some 10 - 12 years. Fortunately I can still ride my bicycles.
Some pics from their last active days. If anyone's interested in the SV (1999 model, around 20k miles) as an easy project, I might be tempted.
