Do you purposefully try to get a rise out of people......further taxation...are bl...y insane we pay tax on everything we do already,If the goverment stopped waisting money on illegal wars and other rubbish that does not concern us and stopped giving money to the third world all would be well, further taxation is unnecassary it just needs to be spent more wisely

I am just commenting based on my life experience.

I agree with you about some of the wars.

My view is that we are our brother's keeper, whether he be in a far off land or next door.

That is the prism through which I view the world.

The Chinese are bailing us out grand style, swings and roundabouts my friend.

:)

I suppose you have a point there :) but it is irritating when we are all struggling then somebody has to carry the can I am afraid :?

maybe , it is the same for all of us , dont waste money on bikes , and purchase decent insurance for when things go bad .

that klein of yours must be worth a few months of self employed insurance........

The thing about Denmark is that you pay higher taxes, but you consequently live a life free of the worries a lot of us here have.

Your kids are well catered for in terms of schooling, etc. Your elderly relatives are cared for when required by people who are in that work as a vocation, are well trained and paid and subsequently value their role much more and commit to it.

You go into a dentist and get the best treatment based on your membership of that tax system, and likewise your medical treatment is assured.

There is no bad side to it at all.

You pay higher tax, but you earn well too.

There is something magical about Denmark, and I think a large part of it is down to its taxation and welfare system.

Oh yeah, the women too.

;)

I worked at one time cleaning the butchery and also the bakery in a supermarket.

It was weird going home with pieces of meat in my beard along with quality chocolate dripping from my hair.

Luckily my boss used to pay my bonus in homegrown.

Then I worked for Trek before setting up my own bike fettling business.

:)
