This is my first post as a new Retrobiker.
I’m currently building a Cannondale Super V to a similar spec to the one I bought new in 1997 and modified heavily, then sold in 2002 - and regretted it ever since!
I’ve managed to source a pair of NOS Azonic / World Force Black Diamond rims the same as I had all those years ago, so now looking for some MKI Hope Bigun hubs in red, blue or silver to lace them to. Got to be the original fat-shelled ones as that’s what I had first time around! Hoping to find some in good condition, not too faded and spoke holes not too worn. Hope I’m not being too optimistic! Does anyone out there have any they would let me buy off them?
Will also need some X-Lite G-Force bars and Hope C2 brakes with 185/150mm discs and a Bullet Bros chain tensioner to finish it off.

I wish Hope would remake them, I’m sure there’s a good market for them. When I went to a couple of DH races at Penshurst in the late 90s around 2/3 of the riders were running them. I know they’re heavy, but they’re ultra strong and beautiful. And the nostalgia factor for us older bikers would shift a good number too I expect. By the way, there’s a Cannondale Super V on eBay atm with a pair of black MKIs. You could do a swap out and sell it on…
