I appreciate you're after Tribal info, but I just wanted to counter an earlier post, that the IFT was about in the 80's.
In the UK at least, it was one of the bikes that first appeared as a first year model for an aluminium framed Marin. Must have been 93 or 94.
All steel prior to that (or Ti), and hence no IFT.

Ok mate hope to pick your brain the indian fire trail is it located near coast or inbetween golden gate north duncans point and east to sonoma creek cheers and yes the indian fire road is an off shoot of the same thing for off roading 4x4s thanks
