Wanted: GT Bologna Lite fork or GT 2x4

Hi buddies,

As GT experts, could you tell me what's the difference between Bologna and Bologna Lite ? Perhaps butting ?
I've got a Bologna from 1996 Backwoods but since the fork could be installed to a Xizang, I think it should be a Lite model
Got the Judy SL planned for the bike though but a rigid fork option wouldn't be bad either.

Hi Kai, Í don´t know the differences exactly, but the bologna lite was even lighter (about 770 gr with ca. 190 cm steerer), the bologna was up to 1000 gr, I think.

First there was the 2x4 with adjustable dropouts (1990-1991), then came the similar 3d fork (1992). In 1993 the bologna was born (and in my opinion the top of the line models became the bologna lite). From 1995 GT built the bologna cut, so I think that's the fork on your backwoods. But I'm not sure.

Hope this was a little help :)

I beleive th Bologna Lite has triple butted blades and the aper is 27 to 19mm on the blades. I don't think the blades on the Bologna fork have any taper. Just a cut end (Hence Bologna) at the dropout.
