Is anyone else still riding a DOGS BOLX?

A few months ago I was riding along the Basingstoke canal on my Roberts Roughstuff when I met a fellow Roberts rider on a DB or White Spider, I cannot remember which and last week on the Leeds to Liverpool canal another Roberts MTB went the other way but I did not get the chance to speak to the rider.
I must be riding in the wrong places 😜 I’ve never met anyone else on a Chas Roberts in 30 years of riding mine.

I have never owned a Roberts frame /bike but to my eye they always look well thought out and well made . In my area Wakefield West Yorkshire I know of at least two Roberts owners one with a white Spider and another with a road bike . Last Christmas I bought my girl friend a club man compact second hand bike , she gets on with it great and it suits a five foot one lady . I think I would be right in saying Geoff Roberts (brother of Chas ) and Winston Vaz ( ex Roberts frame builder ) would make a 2025 version of a DB so the tradition and availability continues .

I’ve recently been reading some old posts about the Chas Roberts Dogs Bolx mtb.
Back in the early 90’s, when I started mountain biking, nobody made mtbs for 5’3” women (I wouldn’t be surprised to find they still don’t!). After a few years riding a fairly entry level bike on which the top tube was soooooo long I found it hard to brake, I invested in a custom built Dogs Bolx…..
30 years later and I’m still riding my beloved Roberts, although the only original kit left on it is the front shifter and it’s now on its 4th paint job. I’ve never ridden anything else and I still love it as much as I did all those years ago, although my riding style is decidedly less “go for it” than it was back then!!
Is there anyone else out there still regularly riding a Dogs Bolx, or am I the only dinosaur on the trails?
A couple of years ago I saw an older woman riding in Grizedale Forrest she had a mint looking Dogs Bolx, I was very surprised to see one out on the trail. Strangely it only came up in conversation this week! I think it was a green/purple colour but can’t fully recall.
