Just bought a second hand King headset and the crown race/baseplate it came with definitely isn't the right one, as it has a split in it, like the standard FSA ones usually have. I'm also not happy with the way it looks or feels when in place.
Anyone got one before I consign the headset to the parts box? There's just no way I can justify paying the online prices, as it will take the overall cost of the headset (which is fairly well scuffed and worn in places) beyond what a much better looking used one would cost.
Happy to pay a reasonable price, or may have something of interest to swap...
